Annual outdoor yard sale

Due to the province moving into Phase 3, we have decided to host our regular outdoor yard sale for ONE day only on July 17 from 9am to 1pm.

The yard sale will be held in the front of the museum (Collins Street side). Pandemic guidelines will be in place: participants must wear masks and practice social distancing. As well, we will be limiting the amount of individuals allowed in the yard sale area at once.

The yard sale area will be divided in 4 sections: Books (front parking lot), general items (grass (beside the main entrance), antiques and jewelry (inside in the Education wing), other items items (Pelton-Fuller driveway).

We ask that participants bring their own bags for shopping.

This year's yard sale is in memory of Charles Winship. Charles was a dedicated volunteer of the Yarmouth County Historical Society for many and held many roles during his time with us, including President and Yard Sale organizer. 

*Note: there will be no Pelton-Fuller House tours or Archives appointments available on this day but the museum and gift shop will be open
