About the Event

Welcome to our 3rd Annual Online Art Auction! Everyone is invited to bid, from the comfort of their homes, on wonderful pieces of art created by local artists.

This auction will take place on our Museum Facebook page at https://fb.me/e/2fuctTQPE

Bidding will begin once auction items are posted on June 8th at 10 AM.

Those who do not have internet or wish to bid in person will be able to do so. Stacy, the event administrator, will work with you for the bidding process.

We encourage you to review the auction details and rules (available in the Discussion section) before the start date.

We want to thank all the artists who are graciously participating. We look forward to having everyone see the wonderful art pieces that will be up for auction. This is a fundraiser for the Yarmouth County Museum and Archives.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Yarmouth County Museum and Archives, owned by the Yarmouth County Historical Society stands on Mi’kma’ki (Mi’kmaq Territory) and supports culture, education, and arts on this land. We strive for meaningful partnerships with all the peoples of this province as we continue to live and work here. Through the Peace and Friendship Treaties, which the Mi’kmaq, Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet), and Passamaquoddy Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1725-1726, there was no surrender of lands nor resources. Agreements within these Treaties outline a path for the ongoing relationship between Nations in mutual respect.
