About the Event

Join us on the beautiful garden grounds of the Pelton-Fuller House in the historic district on Collins Street in Yarmouth, for a lovely picnic, games, as well as theatrical presentation about its famous owners, Alfred (Fuller Brush Man) and Primrose Fuller. There will be delicious food, games, a theatrical presentation "The Trickster and the Fuller Brush Man" as well, participants will have access to the Pelton-Fuller House and the garden. 

All food will be provided by local and Nova Scotia businesses. 

We recommend that one person purchase all the tickets for your group.

Adult Ticket ($25/person)

Basket (with fabric napkin) with the following: 

Sandwich from the Old World Bakery (choice of chicken or veggie) 

Scone from the Sunday Girls

Cucumber salad from the Keepers Kitchen

The Yarmouth County Museum and Archives, owned by the Yarmouth County Historical Society stands on Mi’kma’ki (Mi’kmaq Territory) and supports culture, education, and arts on this land. We strive for meaningful partnerships with all the peoples of this province as we continue to live and work here. Through the Peace and Friendship Treaties, which the Mi’kmaq, Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet), and Passamaquoddy Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1725-1726, there was no surrender of lands nor resources. Agreements within these Treaties outline a path for the ongoing relationship between Nations in mutual respect.
